In order to graduate from the program, it is necessary to take 147 credits and 240 ECTS courses in four-year undergraduate program.
Employment of Graduates
Students who graduate from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Undergraduate program have the skills to do psychological counseling in the fields of personal / social, professional and career counseling. With these competencies, they have opportunities to work in different units of the Ministry of National Education (in different education levels of public and private schools, Science and Art Centers, Guidance Research Centers, private education institutions), the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policies, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Interior, directorate of religious affairs, universities (Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application Research Centers and Career Centers), Local Governments, Red Crescent, Green Crescent and private companies. In addition, they can also work as an academician with academic development opportunities at universities in Turkey and abroad.
