Course Description The qualitative approaches in data collection in the field of Psychological Counseling, validity and reliability in qualitative research, phenomenology, ethnography, embedded theory, case study, narrative-biography, action research, data analysis, qualitative research evaluation standards and ethical issues are covered. That is, defining qualitative research approaches, planning a qualitative research, writing a purpose, importance, assumption, limitation and definition suitable for the research subject, determining the suitable sample, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports in accordance with scientific rules, listing the rules to be considered in the writing of the research report, and describing the ethical principles of the research are included in the course.

Course Description The main goal of this course is to train counselors who apply ethics and values as well as will mobilize the consciousness, power and resources of the society to fight against addiction. It aims to bring a multi-faceted approach to addiction by examining addiction in terms of social, neurobiological, cognitive neuroscience, genetics, and public health approaches. The course content includes biology and psychology of addiction, addiction types and approaches, the causes of addiction, drug addiction and its effects, behavioral addictions as gambling and obsessive-compulsive behavior, current treatment models in addiction, analytical approaches to addiction, law and addiction.
