Program Competencies

1. 1Critically examines, interprets and re-synthesizes the theoretical knowledge base in the field of guidance and psychological counseling, and has the knowledge, skills and experience to carry out studies that contribute to the field and to the literature.
2. 2Knows and applies the basic interventions, techniques and strategies related to theories in the sub-fields of RPD's, such as career, family and school counseling.
3. 3Plans, implements and evaluates the individual and group psychological counseling helping process in accordance with different psychological counseling theories and approaches.
4. 4Knows and applies the supervision theories, principles and techniques of individual and group psychological counseling in the field of RPD.
5. 5Independently prepares and carries out research projects in the field of RPD and reports the research results.
6. 6Has the knowledge, skills and experience to make a case conceptualization of client difficulties within psychological counseling theories and models, and to prepare and implement a corresponding psychological counseling intervention program.
7. 7Develops, applies and evaluates the results of original measurement tools needed in research and practice processes in the field of RPD.
8. 8Designs, conducts and reports research in the field of RPD using scientific research methods and advanced statistical analysis techniques.
